Open source online video platform 创作 made a major announcement today at the OSCON 2010 Open Source Convention in Portl和, Oregon: it released version 2.0 of its 创作 On-Prem Community Edition Platform, the company's free, community-supported video platform.

Users will benefit from the addition of detailed video analytics, access control features that determine what people or regions can see videos, scheduling features, syndication tools for search engines 和 destination sites, 和更多的. Read the full release notes here 和 download the software here.

Version 2 of the platform comes exactly one year after it debuted. In the past year, the edition 和 its supporting widgets, 应用程序, 和 plug-in were downloaded over 120,000倍.

The improvements to version 2 came from the feedback 和 code contributions of the user base. The platform is cross-platform 和 supports delivery to all video-enabled mobile phones.
